Guest writing for Bloved.

One of my little side projects at the moment is writing for the stunning Bloved blog which relaunched last year. I'm one of the contributors for Little B which is their baby and lifestyle section.  My post this week features Annie's newborn shoot which 18 months down the line I am sooooo pleased we had. It brings back such lovely memories. I cant believe she was ever that tiny!

New Baby range at Mango!

Hi everyone!

Mango have launched a lovely new baby range that I thought you would like to see as its super cute. They have had a childswear range for a while but this season is the first where they have branched into baby-wear. I have to say its not the most trend led range in the world but it is stylish and there are some good well priced items that I am going to share with you.

In the girls range I particularly like this Tulle skirt dress at £16.99  which is both pretty and practical and these dusky pink leggings with hearts on look great quality and are £9.99. The cool scarf at £5.99 is a steal with the fab tassels and this little grey cropped cardigan (£14.99) has some lovely detailing with the lace edging and little star print.

The boys range is super cool and includes pieces like these stripy trousers at £9.99. I love the patch detail and the lace up. This long sleeve t shirt  at £5.99 is a good quality basic and the dusky blue colour is gorgeous.  This ombre jumper at £14.99 is both casual and smart and what can I say about the scarf! I would love to see a baby boy with this on! Its just £5.99.

The range is available online and ranges from 3 months - three years.

Christmas Decorations Home Tour 2014!

Following on my tradition of showing my house decorations here are the ones for 2014! You can see the lounge is now completed (albeit a few pictures on the walls) so I am feeling much happier about how the decorations look against their surroundings.  You can see 2013 here. 2012 here, 2011 here and 2010 here.

This year we were away for Christmas from the 20th December so I didn't go all out and I have to say I kind of missed it as they were very low key. We had such a little tree this year! Our front door wreath was our silver one but I added a few festive bows to give it a different look.

On the mantel I added a fir cone garland with a few silver baubles dotted in between and last years silver deer. I wish I could find blue lights for this but I left it a bit late - Next year!!

The kitchen with the green walls always lend themselves well to reds and I used a few of my favourite red baubles in the jars as well as my favourite red deer and Christmas tree. The paper bauble is a recent addition from Wilko!

Lastly these guys were also new for this year and I have a feeling we will have these for many years to come! Annie loves Mr Snowman and Miss Reindeer was gifted to us by my bestie Rosie. Both got many cuddles this Christmas and I'm looking forward to getting them out year after year!

Happy New Year all!
