My Pregnancy Style - 27 weeks!

Well I have to say I am rather enjoying the pregnancy style posts and I have a lovely one for you today taken while on holiday in Southern Spain.

In my last pregnancy style post at 22 weeks I talked about how much I loved this dress by Isabella Oliver and after the post they very kindly sent me the Grecian Maternity top in Pink Rose. I love it! The draped jersey is super comfortable to wear especially in the hot weather and its great to know it will last me throughout my pregnancy and beyond as its also a nursing top. With the baby due in August I know i'll get a lot of wear out of this! It is so versatile and i'll wear it with skinny jeans and leggings too.  I have styled it here with some J Brand Mama boot cut jeans (from Ebay!), gold cork soled wedges from Office and a statement necklace from Oliver Bonas. Do I look ready for a night on the town?

Here you can see the detail - I particularly like the cap sleeves which are such a flattering length and the rope belt which pulls you in under the bust.

A Chi Chi Affair

Here I styled it with a relaxed jersey jacket from Uniqlo

What are you wearing at the moment? Do tell me!

PS: Although Isabella Oliver kindly sent me this top for free -  all views are my own and  please know I wouldn't review or be photographed in something I wouldn't genuinely wear...

Tuesday Tales from the Week - Babymoon in Spain

Hi everyone!

So we are back from our babymoon in Southern Spain and we had such a lovely time! We spent a few days in Seville wandering around the beautiful Alcazar, exploring the shops and eating tapas! I loved all the beautiful patterns.

We then drove about an hour south to the Costa de la Luz and rented a villa there. We had such a relaxing time discovering all the stunning and deserted beaches on that coast, sunbathing by our pool reading books and exploring the white washed villages of that region.

Of course I couldn't resist a few pictures showing off the bump! I'm just going into my third trimester so it wont be long before baby is here which is insane!  More pregnancy style posts later in the week!

Happy Tuesday!

I am coveting - Mummy and Me!

Last week I went shopping with one of my besties and lovely as it was its slightly depressing all of the clothes that I cannot get into at the moment as at 27 weeks I'm expanding rapidly! So anyway looking on the bright side (and its my birthday this week!) its all about accessories for me!  I am hoping someone special in my life buys me this Bex Rox friendship bracelet. Its casual enough to wear for day for work (especially in the navy and gold) and I could dress it up for the evening too so pretty multifunctional in my book.  You can find the navy version on My Wardrobe here.

Baby is coveting this adorable rabbit soft toy that I spied in Zara Home this week. I adore its quirkiness and it would look so cute sitting on the fireplace in the nursery we are planning!

Happy Thursday!

A Colourful 1st Birthday!

Look how cute this first birthday party is that I found on The Sweetest Occasion. Styled by Sugar Lander I love that this is sweet, simple and colourful!  The rows upon rows of bunting would be super easy to make out of craft paper but create a big statement and the favour bags would be so lovely to take home!  Perfect for or all those mummies with not much time on their hands (That will be me soon!) DIY Clay Plant Markers!

Tidying and clearing our garden is still the order of the day here at A Chi Chi Affair. Since we got the decking done last year the garden is a whole lot more useable but there is still a section at the back that needs some attending too! More soon!

I'm also desperate to get some herbs going as I use them so much in cooking that it just seems much more economical don't you think? We actually bought this Applaro Wall Panel last year which were meaning to put some tin buckets with herbs on like this picture I found below but we just haven't got around to it yet....

Anyway when we do finally get around to hanging it I definitely want to make these DIY Clay Plant markers that I found on The Sweetest Occasion. They are so fun to make too - I think I'll do them in some acid bright colours for the summer! For the how to then do click over here.

Happy Thursday!

Friday Home: Nursery Inspiration!

We are in the midst of decorating the nursery for our new arrival at the moment so I thought I would show you a few ideas that I have been mostly collecting on my Pinterest Page.

The room was horrendous when we moved in with a blue carpet and cream walls with textured lining paper and a sludgy pink picture rail! It basically needed a big pick me up as it just felt so dark and we had just never got round to it! We want babies room to be clean, fresh and inviting so for now we have settled on crisp white walls and a neutral carpet and I thought I could brighten this up with pops of colour in the curtains, rug and furniture!  Here are my inspiration pictures so far!

The room has a fireplace so I like this idea!

I definitely want to do a space where baby can get creative!

I love this artwork to hang on the walls by Somebody Elses Project and Rifle Paper Co!

More details to come soon!

I am coveting.... Mummy and Baby finds!

I thought I would change up the I am coveting series to document what I am loving for both myself and this little person I have on the way.  So each week I will post a "Mummy is coveting item" and a "Baby is coveting item!"  Cute - don't you think?

First up! We are off to Spain soon so I am coveting a new beach bag and I found the perfect one in Boden here.  It's a lovely mix of chic and casual in the driftwood and lime colourway and would be stunning in the Spanish sunshine and give a pop of colour to my outfits! Its roomy for all my essentials too!

And baby is coveting the gorgeous Little Remix blanket from Ferm Living which would be beautiful in the new nursery and cosy in the pram!  In fact I could buy the whole Ferm Living range for Baby really!

Have a lovely day!
