Some Easter Ideas for decorating!

Its Easter this week (well that came around quickly!) and what with everything happening at work and with the baby I almost haven't had a moment to think about it. So I thought I would sit down, gather my thoughts and collect a few ideas for decorating or Easter gifts.   Hope you like them!

First up are these super cute egg boxes from Peach Blossom that you can buy here and come in an assortment of colours. I thought this would be a nice idea just in case you were planning to do some baking for friends to give as an alternative to chocolate! They fit these fairy cakes perfectly!

I love these paper chicks from Pipii. They would be so cute on your Easter mantelpiece or table if
you are having a big Easter Lunch. The little ones would love them too!

If you are going all out with the Easter decorating or if you want a statement piece then how about this Easter wreath from John Lewis that you know would be used year after year. It is SO pretty! Click over to John Lewis here to purchase.

Finally for a subtle take on the Easter theme for your table then how about this gorgeous yellow table runner and bunny napkins from H&M that could be used all year round. Pair them with a white tablecloth and some yellow daffodils and your table would look so pretty!

Hope you like my Easter picks!  I would love to know what you are doing for Easter!

Happy Monday all! Sorry about the lack of posts last week I was totally drowning at work so just did not have time to check in! Lots of lovely posts to come this week though so stay tuned!!

I'm sure I'm not the only one but I am completely dreaming of sunny weather at the moment. Its been dire here, cold and rainy and just when I think Spring is around the corner we get anther dull day! So I have chosen the brightest party I can find - this fabulous Mexican themed 30th birthday party from The Pretty Blog to cheer us all up!!

I adore the green striped table runner with the yellow napkins, the beautiful bright blooms in shades of orange and pink. The bright fabric strewn across the hay bales. Its all just fun and beautiful and really cheers me up!  For more pictures do click over to The Pretty Blog.

Easter Inspiration! Yellow and Chevron Art Museum Wedding

This week I was thinking about my Easter tablescape and I stumbled across this lovely wedding on Style me Pretty designed by the bride and Stacey Bode which included some lovely colours and patterns which would be gorgeous for your Easter table.  I adore the yellow chevron fabric that you can buy easily on Etsy and the white jars, vases and canister's look so chic in the middle of the fabric runner. You notice the combination of garden flowers, greenery and ferns that have been used that look like they could have been picked from a country garden. So chic for an Easter lunch! A Colourful Vintage Baby Shower

Whilst reading one of my favourite blogs Camille Styles this week I stumbled across this gorgeous colourful vintage baby shower from Found and blogged by 100 Layer cakelet.

Okay the show stopper in this is the incredible mobile made of balls of wool but I also love the vintage wooden table with the colourful pops of those beautifully bright flowers. Such a great contrast!  Of course I also think the cake is super fabulous and what an invitation! Don't forget to pop over to Camille Styles to see the full post.

Happy Monday!
