DIY is huge in weddings at the moment and I know lots of people making the fabulous Paper Poms and using lanterns to hang as part of their wedding decor. They look so great hung all together. However I've found a great alternative on Hostess Blog that looks just as effective and although slightly more time consuming is actually a more budget friendly option. You could alternate these with the traditional paper poms or lanterns for a textured look...
Use different colours like the picture here or shades of the same colour would also look fabulous especially this seasons pastel shades. :-)
