Wedding Wednesday - New Fitness and Skin regime

Well its the first Wedding Wednesday of the year and now we're on the wedding countdown. Only six months to go! Eek! Where did the time go? So I'm writing this down to let you all know (in the hope that if I write it down I'll stick to it)  that my fitness and skincare regime starts HERE!  There are three facets to this

1. Get back to the gym!  I'm a sporadic gym goer but before Christmas I dared to try a couple of classes of Body Pump which is a hi repetition class with weights. Seriously it nearly killed me but I really felt the burn afterwards so I'm definitely going to keep it up. I'm going to alternate with some Zumba classes too.

2. Healthy eating - I'm hoping to lose around a stone and I'm going back to Slimming World to do this. I need the fear of the weekly weigh in to stay on track!!  It also means that I get inspired to try out the Slimming world recipes which means I'm cooking much more. I love food so this really takes dedication but I'm determined!

3. Monthly facials - I'm going to try the Dermologica facial skin mapping process which involves the facialist analysing your skin to develope a personalised routine. I'm lucky that I dont have too many skin concerns but I do want to combat some of the redness and maintain a more even complexion. I'll report back soon.

I need you people to spur me on so who is with me?

I've started my diet as well - I have a holiday in 4 weeks and a friend's wedding in 8 weeks so I've got my motivation :) Using Weight Loss Resources (calorie counting essentially) which I've used in the past quite successfully and 6 days in, I'm still feeling quite determined. Have Zumba DVDs to get me moving as well!
