Wedding Wednesday - Venue Searching in London Part 2

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share with you a couple of the other venues in London that we looked at when trying to find a venue for our wedding and I promise I'll show you where we chose this week.

First up Delfina. Delfina is a kind of industrial warehouse space in a very trendy area called Bermondsey near London Bridge. Its mainly used for events but they do weddings too.  The space is a completely blank canvas and that's what appealed to me. They had some great lighting and decor options and you could make the space look the way you wanted. They also had some great food options such as a hot dog bar which would have been really fun and different!  Oh and it had great reviews too!

The reason we didn't choose this is that although it would be super fabulous for a party we didn't feel it felt special enough for our wedding. That being said I would LOVE to have a party here!!

Finally we saw The Boundary which appealed to me as it had a roof terrace which I felt would be lovely in summer. Its a very modern hotel, super trendy with great food credentials and fab decor. The reason we didn't choose it is because the restaurant which is in the basement with no windows felt like it may be a bit dark for summer and there was no contingency for the roof terrace if it rained. Also its in a bit of an industrial area which although part of its charm I felt that this would be lost on some of our older guests.  The rooms are beautiful though and its definitely worth a visit.

Hope you enjoyed the look through our possible venues!  Next week see the one we picked!
