Great Finds: Nkuku

Well we were shopping in Whole Foods Market in Kensington on the weekend and I stumbled across these gorgeous items which I discovered were from  Nkuku.  When I got home I looked up the website and found that Nkuku specialise in stylish, eco friendly and fair trade gifts. They have some lovely finds!

These were the cups and bowls that caught my eye on the weekend. They are painted by crafts people from Kashmir in India. I love the colours and patterns and the bowls would be so useful for serving little nibbles at parties or perfect for picnics.

I also found some other lovely items like these Maya recycled glass bowls, so pretty with candles as the light shines through the glass.

And I adore these moonlight lanterns made from recycled glass and decorated with a pretty white floral pattern. Beautiful for outdoor dining.

And the great thing is there is both a US and a UK shop too !

I stumbled over Nkuku recently too - love their stuff! And also ended up getting some gorgeous wooden bowls from them for pretty cheap in Whole Foods when they were on special offer. Love those bright bowls - just wish I had room for more things! x
