Beckett's Superhero Party!

When Carissa at The Fabulous Design File emailed me to ask if I had any ideas for Beckett's 4th birthday I was more than happy to help out. She wanted a superhero party and I scoured the web for ideas. Here's what I came up with!

Decor Ideas

An easy idea for your dessert table is to create varying heights using boxes covered in paper that you then draw windows on. Doesn’t it look effective? See more details of this amazing party here:

Loved this party idea using paper lanterns, tissue paper and cut out stars – very effective.

A piñata is a effective decoration and this one is fab. The kids will love beating it to get the sweeties.

Love the colours on this table here

Free Printables

Found these great free printables that you can use to decorate or as activities. The superman and batman logo can be downloaded here on this great link:

The cupcake wrappers are here

The lollipop templates which are so cute are here

These book marks are from here:

These pow pow printables are here:
Paid for Printables

Now if you want something a bit easier here are some great paid for printables.

Party Food

Some cute ideas would be layered jelly shots in superhero colours, or these spiderman cupcakes:  Or have a look at these cute dessert tables, keeping to two colours keeps it stylish like this one in the yellow and the black here and I love the crisps in the cones on this table. You could use comic book paper for this which would look fab!

Other ideas could be cutting your sandwiches out with bat or spider cookie cutters, or labelling your veggie sticks like celery and carrot with cool names such as carrot sticks with power dip (to give you x-ray vision!) Other food ideas are Power bars, bananas for banana man, kryptonite green jelly.

A great activity and fun for everyone is decorating your own super hero mask! Mask templates can be downloaded here. or this one  You could cut them out in felt and then get all sorts of sticky stars and craft bits and bobs to decorate them!

You could also do face paints and the piñata, and games could be Mr Freeze (instead of Musical Statues) and Pass the Kryptonite (pass the parcel)

And Carissa did a fabulous job!  You can see Becketts party here! Make sure you go and take a look!
